higher-order biological rule-function. Ordinary phenotypes are physical expressions; the Archstage
phenotype governs the space in which those expressions can or cannot occur.
223. Canonical correction: phenotype versus meta-phenotype
Phenotype, in the ordinary HGL sense, means a physically apparent or physically instantiated biological
characteristic/configuration. It can be macroscopic or microscopic, local or systemic, temporary or persistent.
Archwomanhood phenotype and Archmanhood phenotype are higher-order uses of the word phenotype.
They are meta-phenotypes: stage-specific global rules and constraints over physical phenotype expression.
To prevent type confusion, this treatise writes them as Γ^F_n and Γ^M_n.
Γ^F_n := the global Stage-n Archwomanhood meta-phenotype function.
Γ^M_n := the global Stage-n Archmanhood meta-phenotype function.
P := an actual physically expressed phenotype state.
The difference is the same kind of difference that exists between a parameter and a hyperparameter. P
contains the biological outputs. Γ configures the rules that determine which outputs are available, required,
excluded, or transformed.
224. Why the hyperparameter analogy is structurally accurate
Suppose a phenotype-generating system has ordinary biological variables θ: hormone concentrations,
developmental timing, tissue state, age, local signaling, environmental inputs, inherited anatomy, and so on.
These variables can change while the Archstage remains constant.
P(t) = F(θ(t); Γ^F_n).
The semicolon is conceptually important. θ contains changing lower-order biological parameters. Γ^F_n
supplies higher-order stage rules that constrain or transform how those parameters can become phenotype.
If Γ is fixed while θ changes, P can still change.
ΔΓ^F_n = 0 does not imply ΔP = 0.
This is the mathematical core of the sentence: a woman can stop developing upward as an Archwoman
while continuing to develop as a woman.
225. Globality means global governance, not phenotype uniformity
Every actual physical phenotype throughout an Archfemale body is expressed under the current Γ^F_n.
Every actual physical phenotype throughout an Archmale body is expressed under Γ^M_n. This is why the
Archstage meta-phenotype is whole-body.
For every relevant body region r: P_r(t) ∈ Expr^F_n(r,t).
Yet P_skin can differ from P_bone, P_brain, P_ovary, P_muscle, P_blood, and P_cell. The global
rule-function does not demand that every region instantiate the same trait. It demands that every region’s
physical expression be stage-valid.
global Γ ≠ identical P in every tissue.
Layman analogy: the same national legal system governs a hospital, a school, a farm, and a court without
requiring those places to perform the same activity. Γ is global in jurisdiction; phenotype is local in realization.
226. Macroscopic and microscopic globality
Because Γ governs expression rather than naming a single trait, it can operate simultaneously over every
biologically relevant scale. A Stage-20 Archwomanhood meta-phenotype can govern whole-body
