169. Why “hidden dimension” is better than “alienness” 
The hierarchy preserves female/male typing and own-side ancestry. A later phenotype is therefore not 
formally defined by distance from the category but by deeper internal organization within that category’s 
recursive lineage. 
The exact property can be surprising because ordinary womanhood/manhood does not provide enough 
causal variables to predict it. Once the relevant IH genealogy is disclosed, the property can become 
understandable as a consequence of a state that ordinary biology never instantiates.
