Part XXIV — Remaining open questions after the IH revision The following are genuine open variables. Earlier questions about the canonical whole-state antithesis operator, SF2 conflict, and Stage-1 female typing are closed by the present revision and are no longer open. 75. Which logically equivalent source formulas count as the same IH source? The conservative assumption is that classically equivalent descriptions of one source state can be normalized without changing source identity, while derivational provenance is retained separately. A future intensional refinement could distinguish syntactic histories even when Boolean content is equivalent. 76. Exactly which properties are “inheritable properties”? Core IH projection says all source-state content relevant to HGL is retained. A fuller theory could partition properties into constitutive, optional, transient, or noninheritable classes. Until then, IH(S) should be read as inheritance of the source state’s HGL-defining properties, not literally every accidental fact true of the individual who once occupied S. 77. Can IH ever distribute under a special law? Core HGL says no automatic distribution. A future rule could state that particular outer conjunctions are componentwise inheritable, but such a rule must preserve PA irreducibility and source provenance. 78. Can a stage be lost or regress? The present ladder defines upward construction and permits stagnation. Regression requires a separate temporal law. 79. Can stages be skipped? Not specified. The canonical recursive definition gives an order, but a causal transition theory would need to say whether an individual must physically pass through every preceding stage.
