20.5 Crossfunction failure
L_A and L_B can each work while Cross(L_A,L_B) fails. This means the correct target may be connectivity, selectivity, integration, efficiency, routing, metaneural control, or crossfunctional prowess rather than larger A or B.
Success(L_A) AND Success(L_B) AND Failure(Cross(A,B))
=> do not infer Failure(L_A) or Failure(L_B)
If the failed output specifically depended on Higher-Hyperfunction-generated emergent dimensions, the failed event is a Hyperemergent crossfunction failure rather than merely ordinary crossfunctional failure. The correct developmental target may therefore be interlobe integration, routing, selectivity, or emergent-dimension exposure rather than greater local lobe strength.
