11.18 Two distinct novelty stages: inherited emergence and network-generated emergence

A Hyperemergent Crossfunction can contain two kinds of novelty that must not be merged. First, participating Higher Lobes bring inherited intralobar emergent dimensions already generated by their own Hyperfunction state. Second, the crossfunctional interaction among those dimensions can generate additional network-level properties not possessed by any participant before integration.

Stage 1: H_h(phi) -> E_phi,h

Stage 2: Cross(E_phi,h, K_psi, E_psi,k, ...) -> N_new

The Stage-2 property N_new is hyperemergent in the strongest sense: it is not merely an emergent dimension carried into the network; it is a new property produced by interaction involving one or more such dimensions. This gives the architecture an emergence-of-emergence structure.

Terminological precision: A Higher Lobe's own E_phi,h is Hyperfunction-emergent. A crossfunctional output that merely transmits E_phi,h is higher-order crossfunctional use. A genuinely new N_new created by interlobe interaction involving E_phi,h is network-hyperemergent. The umbrella term Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality may cover both dependency and network-generation, but the distinction should be stated whenever causal precision matters.
