11.12 Asymmetric Regular-Hyperfunctional Hyperemergence
A regular H1 lobe can participate in Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality with a Higher Lobe. The regular lobe does not need to possess higher-order emergent dimensions itself. It can supply context, constraints, data, control signals, primitive functionality, or another function whose interaction with the Higher Lobe's emergent dimensions generates the hyperemergent output.

This is asymmetric hyperemergence because the higher-order emergent dimensionality enters from only one side of the interaction. For example, an ordinary emotional-state modelling lobe could crossfunction with an H200 strategy lobe. If the strategic lobe contributes an H200-generated strategy dimension that allows the emotional information to be transformed into a form of adaptive planning unavailable to H1 strategy, the resulting network function is Hyperemergent even though the emotional lobe is regular.
The regular lobe can be indispensable. Hyperemergence does not imply that the Higher Lobe is the only important participant; it means only that at least one indispensable or output-changing contribution comes from Hyperfunction-generated emergence.
