11.11 Hyperemergence does not mean "more of the same"

Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality should not be interpreted as a scalar multiplier placed on ordinary crossfunctionality. The novelty can be type-novel rather than amount-novel. A crossfunction may already have perfect primitive Function, Adeptness, Usefulness, and Reliability in the participating H1 states while still acquiring new higher-order crossfunctional properties because the higher-order emergent dimensions create interaction terms that did not exist at the primitive level.

Hyperemergence != 200% crossfunctionality

Hyperemergence != H100 + H100 = H200

Hyperemergence = new network-output dimensions enabled by higher-order emergent inputs

The central analogy is coordinate expansion rather than meter overfilling. If ordinary crossfunctionality uses coordinates x and y, and a Higher Lobe later contributes a genuinely new emergent coordinate z, then interaction terms involving z become available: x*z, y*z, x*y*z, and more complicated mappings. Those terms can produce outputs that were literally unavailable before z existed as an active input.
