11.8 Higher-Lobe crossfunctionality is broader than Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality

Define Higher-Lobe Crossfunctionality as any crossfunction in which at least one participating positive lobe has Hyperfunction order h >= 2. This is a broad participation category. Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality is a narrower dependence category.

Accordingly, every Hyperemergent Crossfunction is Higher-Lobe crossfunctionality, but not every Higher-Lobe crossfunction is Hyperemergent. Suppose an H100 language lobe and an ordinary music lobe cooperate, yet the network uses only the H100 lobe's primitive language-function component and would produce the same output if that language contribution were replaced by the corresponding H1 contribution. The event involves an H100 lobe, but the H100-specific emergent dimensionality is causally idle for that crossfunction. It is therefore ordinary Higher-Lobe crossfunctionality, not Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality.

Non-incidental-Higher-Lobe condition: A Higher Lobe's mere anatomical presence, structural availability, recruitment, or firing is insufficient. Hyperemergence requires higher-order emergent contribution, not merely higher-order participation.
