11.7 Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality - canonical definition

Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality is crossfunctionality in which one or more participating Higher Hyperfunctional Brain-lobes contribute one or more higher-order emergent functional dimensions, and the interlobe integration of those dimensions with functionality from regular lobes, other Higher Lobes, Antilobes, sublobes, or already-produced crossfunctions generates a crossfunctional output whose relevant property would not be produced by the corresponding primitive-or-lower-order inputs alone.

The term therefore refers to a network-level emergence that is causally dependent on intralobar Hyperfunction-generated emergence. It is not merely "a crossfunction that happens to contain a Higher Lobe." The Higher Lobe must contribute something specifically supplied by its expanded Hyperfunctional state - for example an Adeptness-like, Function-like, Usefulness-like, Reliability-like, mixed, or otherwise irreducible emergent dimension generated by the Hyperfunction/Infrafunction zig-zag.

OVEREXPLICIT CANONICAL RULE: Hyperfunction emergence occurs inside the expanded state of a Higher Lobe. Crossfunctionality occurs through interactions among neural structures. Hyperemergent Crossfunctionality occurs when the second process actually uses products of the first process. The two emergence levels must therefore be distinguished even when they occur in the same task at the same instant.

The purpose of this definition is anti-collapse. A Higher Lobe can be present without its higher-order emergent dimensions being relevant to a particular crossfunction. Conversely, once a crossfunction materially depends on those higher-order dimensions, reducing the event to ordinary crossfunctionality discards a causally decisive level of structure.
