9.5 What high Antilobe depth actually diagnoses

Under the gated model, high Antilobe depth above A1 does NOT mean that the original positive task-function is failing at progressively deeper positive-functional levels. It means the positive target X is silent and multiple lower Antilobe monitoring layers also failed or were unavailable before a later Antilobe successfully responded.

MRD=k>=2 => x0=0, r1=r2=...=r_(k-1)=0, and r_k=1

Therefore MRD is fundamentally a MONITORING-CHAIN recovery-depth variable. If d_X=1, it co-occurs with a positive activation failure of X, but the numerical value k measures how far the anti-monitoring apparatus had to recurse before a successful sentinel appeared. It does not measure "how deeply phi itself failed".
