6.3 Functional-state quality versus deployment/performance envelope
Two questions must be separated:
State identity: what typed Hyperfunction order belongs to the Higher Lobe when its positive state is instantiated?
Deployment/performance envelope: under which task demands can the architecture recruit that lobe, activate it, cover the required function-instances, coordinate it with other lobes, and do so at the required speed/power/efficiency?
The 22 factors heavily affect the deployment/performance envelope while leaving the typed definition of H_h unchanged.
