Divine v144 Source Corpus

5.2 Standing family versus ordinary Brain-lobe Generation

Divine v144 Corpus · Section 146 of 317

This higher-lobe correspondence rule should not be confused with the v140 Brain-lobe Generation rule. Brain-lobe Generation creates a new primary lobe when an unmet mental function cannot be adequately produced by existing lobes or crossfunctionality. The higher-lobe rule instead produces or provides recursively higher implementations of an already specified function-kind.

New function creation and higher-order implementation of an existing function are different processes.
