4.12 Purification: what the negative coordinate removes or excludes

Purification is the directional effect by which -I_n makes the Hyperfunctional state increasingly incompatible with the corresponding Infrafunction order I_n. Because I_n is itself recursively richer than I_(n-1), negating I_n purifies against a more sophisticated Infrafunctional configuration than negating I_(n-1).

I_n richer than I_(n-1) => -I_n supplies higher-order Infrafunction-directed purification

Purification can manifest as resistance to, exclusion of, cancellation of, non-realizability of, or structural incompatibility with aspects of the negated Infrafunction state, depending on the function and the system's semantic mapping. This is real and important, but it is only one half of the zig-zag.
