2.4 Adeptness at Function
Adeptness-at-Function_phi is the state/extent of skillful, proficient execution of Function_phi. It answers HOW ADEPTLY the lobe performs its function.
This is deliberately not identical to Function. A structure can have the correct function-kind without yet being maximally adept at executing it.
