5. Antaintelligence improves intelligence-selection

General intelligence is not only possessing many cognitive capacities. It also involves selecting which capacity should govern a problem.

Antaintelligence repeatedly asks:

Should I reason logically or socially?

Should I reveal or conceal?

Should I predict, probe, wait, or act?

Should I trust the evidence or test whether it was planted?

Should I optimise the local move or the long-term interaction?

This produces cognitive mode-selection intelligence.

The person becomes better at selecting and sequencing their intelligences, raising effective general intelligence even before the underlying intelligences themselves increase.
