3. Resistance requires metacognitive hardening

Divine v144 Corpus · Section 81 of 317

To resist being outsmarted, the person must recognise how their own cognition can fail.

They develop awareness of:

biases;

predictable habits;

hidden assumptions;

emotional exploitabilities;

knowledge-gaps;

reasoning bottlenecks;

overconfidence;

model-fixation.

This produces metacognitive hardening:

The progressive reduction of exploitable weaknesses within one’s reasoning, learning, modelling, and decision-making systems.

Because these weaknesses affect nearly every domain, correcting them raises general intelligence broadly.
