Rules and Metarules
Rules are governance-structures that determine what is allowed, disallowed, valid, invalid, possible, impossible, or otherwise classifiable within their governed scope.
Metarules are the rules that govern rules.
Metarules² are the rules that govern Metarules.
Metarules³ are the rules that govern Metarules².
Metarules⁴ are the rules that govern Metarules³.
Metarules⁵ are the rules that govern Metarules⁴.
General Metarule rule: for every integer n ≥ 2, Metarulesⁿ are the rules governing Metarules⁽ⁿ⁻¹⁾. The Metarule ladder continues recursively without a terminal order.
Metagovernance depth is the recursive order at which governance is applied to governance. Ordinary rules are governance-depth 0, Metarules are governance-depth 1, Metarules² are governance-depth 2, and so forth.
Impossibility-governance is the rules-and-metarules structure that determines what can be classified, contained, or represented as impossible.
